Michael Olise gets the win against Manchester United with two goals
One of Erik ten Hag’s most devastating punches came from a sparkling performance by a Crystal Palace side that was motivated by Michael Olise’s wonderful feet.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lost his job at Old Trafford due to a loss against Watford, but United transfer target Olise stole the show.
The 22-year-old winger wowed the crowd, including Jason Wilcox and Jean-Claude Blanc, in what was, all things considered, a fantastic audition. Palace supporters will never forget the historic night they saw their team’s first-ever league double thanks in large part to Olise. They don’t get to see their team defeat United 4-0 too frequently.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United is still on the hunt for Olise, who is expected to have a release clause in summer worth over £60 million.
The Palace winger had a remarkable 97% passing success rate and kept possession for the majority of the match. It might be related to United’s indifference without the ball, as Aaron Wan-Bissaka was unable to get near Olise.
In addition to assisting on two goals, he finished five dribbles.
It will be a monumental challenge for Ten Hag to motivate his team with this crushing loss, but he will survive the season.
