Good afternoon!
Jean-Clair Todibo has acknowledged that he has conducted negotiations regarding a move to Old Trafford, continuing rumours that Manchester United have been interested in him for a while.
The Red Devils are reportedly interested in signing the French international, who Nice values at over £40 million, according to last week’s edition of The Mail.
When Todibo first started out, he had a one-week trial with Manchester United. In addition, he has played in five senior games with Barcelona, a Spanish powerhouse.
Confirming that he held talks with the 20-time English champions, the 24-year-old centre back has not ruled out a transfer to a big club.
(The Daily Telegraph reports that) when asked about United, he said:
I respect the club and its fans too much to bring up the subject of his future here. We did, however, have a brief conversation.
With Todibo shining in goal for Nice, the club boasted the greatest defensive record in the just-ended Ligue 1 season, allowing just 29 goals.

For Le Gym, he appeared in 30 league games and contributed to 15 shutouts.
Still, Deschamps left Todibo out of France’s European Championship roster because of the strength and depth of their centre defence.
Since United’s defence was so drained and plagued by injuries in the 2023–24 season, his decision to skip the Euros would allow him to return to the next campaign in peak condition.
Is Jean-Clair Todibo a worthy target for Manchester United’s £40 million transfer window?
