Report – Man Utd initiate ‘move’ to sign £51million Spaniard

One of Spain’s goals scored by Dani Olmo
Man Utd have reportedly started the transfer process to acquire Dani Olmo, a Spanish international, from RB Leipzig.

The La Roja playmaker might be available for a transfer price of £51 million (clause) before the middle of July, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo published today (news picture given below).

Olmo is reportedly being pursued by many clubs, including United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, City, and Barça, according to the news source.

He has dreams of returning to the Nou Camp after playing for the La Masia programme.

But Barcelona has to fix their financial issues before they can go forward with hiring the Spaniard.

The transfer of the Bundesliga striker has Deco’s stamp of approval. Deco is the Catalan club’s sports director. As far as the Brazilian is concerned, he is at the perfect age to make the transition.

Despite spending most of the 2023–24 season out due to injuries, he managed to contribute to Leipzig’s offence with eight goals and five assists.

Manchester United should add Olmo to bolster their offence because of his talent and experience, but they should think twice about acquiring him because of his injury history.
