Two footed wing wizard set to sign new contract at Manchester United – report

Reportedly, Manchester United are in the process of negotiating a deal with Ethan Williams, who will be signing his first professional contract.

In the wake of an outstanding season, the 18-year-old played for both the u21s and the u18s, the latter of which won a triple.

In all age group contests, he was an integral part of both teams, contributing nine assists and scoring nine goals.

As of this summer, “Williams signed a pre-professional contract earlier in the season,” according to the Manchester Evening News.

Williams was of legal age to sign a professional agreement immediately, but he instead signed a pre-professional contract. The reason for this odd transaction remains unknown.

The club’s efforts to secure his future with the club are not surprising, however, given his status as one of the academy’s standout performers.

He is an ambipedal winger, so it’s hard to say for sure which foot is stronger—even though it’s his left.

The youth stands out as a world-class striker because he can find the back of the net from far and fire from long range.

Like another product of the United academy, Mason Greenwood, Williams is a nightmare to mark because of his versatility and ability to both cut inside and challenge defenders on the outside.

Being versatile and at ease in a variety of roles presents opportunities for the kid, who can play either side of the ball. Williams has experience playing farther back on the field, as left back or wing back, and is equally at home on the left or right flank, but he prefers to play on the left.

Williams, who was signed from Rochdale at the age of fourteen, has been impressive throughout the age groups. However, his transfer to the red side of Manchester was complicated because of his family’s ties to Manchester City, the rival team.

His uncle, who is Alex Williams’s nephew, was a custodian for Manchester City in the 1980s and made 125 games.

Williams, who hopes to follow in his uncle’s professional footsteps (albeit in a different colour jersey), may have his first opportunity to make an impact during preseason, when many starters will be away at international competitions.
