Opportunities present themselves from time to time that are just too fantastic to pass up. With Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Sofyan Amrabat all slated to leave this summer, Manchester United is looking to add a new midfielder to its roster.
Imagine for a second if we told you that for a rumoured £17 million, you could have a player whose contract expires in 2025 but whose physique is reminiscent of Casemiro and whose composure is reminiscent of Amrabat. A youthful footballer with 17 caps who is just 25 years old.
Someone who is technically adept enough to fit into a possession-based gameplan and has the physicality needed for the Premier League (6 feet 1 inch). Manchester United’s formation this season has resembled a donut with a huge hole in the centre, and the team has suffered greatly from a lack of energy, ground coverage, and ball carrying ability.
