Among Liverpool’s summer targets, an old rival in Manchester United might be waiting for them.
The Reds will likely be busy during the summer transfer window as they begin to back new boss Arne Slot.
Nobody is surprised that Liverpool would benefit from adding some new players following their disappointing season in the championship hunt and the departures of key players like Thiago and Joel Matip.
Mo Salah’s future is obviously up in the air, and Liverpool are said to be monitoring other wide receivers.
The Reds may have their dreams dashed for a single signing, however, if Manchester United is to be believed.

Manchester United is currently vying with Liverpool for Mohammed Kudus.
Over the weekend, rumours circulated that Liverpool is prepared to step up their pursuit of West Ham’s Kudus.
But it won’t be easy getting to Kudus, as Manchester United is reportedly also interested, according to today’s story in The Mirror.

United reportedly have high hopes for Kudus and Wolves starting midfielder Matheus Cunha.
Also stated is Liverpool’s alleged interest in Kudus, who might replace Mo Salah if the latter leaves.
Mohammed Kudus had an outstanding first season with West Ham in the Premier League.
He has been absolutely sensational for the Hammers, scoring fourteen goals in the Premier League.
Kudus has been so impressive recently that he is now worth more than Napoli player Victor Osimhen, according to the Football Observatory.
Although Kudus seems tailor-made for Liverpool, West Ham will want a hefty transfer fee to part with him.
A youthful, nimble, dominant possession player with a good striker’s eye. Kudus may thrive under Arne Slot’s tutelage.
